Our Story

We got tired of losing the good runs.

FrostLux started with a simple, annoying problem. You have the run of your life — the light is perfect, the snow is right, everything links — and there is no record of it. It happened once and then it was gone.

The existing fixes were all worse than the problem. A camera bolted to your helmet that catches wind and looks ridiculous. A chest rig with straps you have to put on in the parking lot. A phone that stays in your pocket because you are not stopping mid-run to film. Every option asked you to change how you ride so the camera could exist.

So we put the camera inside the goggles.

Not clipped on. Not mounted to. Inside the frame, sat at the bridge, recording exactly what your eyes see in 4K. From the outside it reads as a clean pair of snow goggles and nothing more. Nobody on the lift knows. Your friends find out when you show them the footage.

The goggles had to work as goggles first, so that is where most of the engineering went. Anti-fog venting, UV-protected mirrored lens, impact-resistant frame, triple-layer face foam, adjustable strap that fits over any standard helmet. If they were mediocre goggles with a good camera, we would have failed.

What we care about

One piece of gear, not three. If you need a second device to capture your day, we have not solved anything.

It should disappear. The best version of this product is the one you forget you are wearing.

Footage you actually use. Built-in WiFi drops your clips onto your phone in about a minute, which is why people post from the lift instead of never.

We run limited winter batches rather than sitting on inventory year-round. When a run sells out, it is out until the next one.
